Public Relations Thesis Submission
This payment page is for students of the National and Kapodistrian University, Athens, Greece who wish to submit a public relations thesis in order to be awarded the Irish Academy of Public Relations’ Diploma in PR.
The thesis should be 3,500 words maximum plus appendices and should analyse a communications challenge.
The purpose of the thesis is to establish that the students have a clear understanding of agenda-setting, agenda control and media manipulation and can demonstrate that understanding by reference to a current issue, namely an issue not older than 5 years.
The choice of topic is entirely at the discretion of the student, however, they are required to seek approval of their chosen topic from the course tutor Dr. Karathanos before they commence work on their thesis. The thesis may be submitted by students in their mother tongue.
You will need to confirm that you are a university student, and give us the proposed topic for your thesis (we know that this might change in the coming weeks!).
Your thesis should be submitted to the university where Dr. Karathanos will correct and grade it.
We will then liaise directly with him regarding any issues or queries that our Examination Board raises.
A fee of e300 applies to your registration.
This should be paid online, from this page
Your result will be notified to you approximately 8 weeks after the receipt of your proposed grade from Dr. Karathanos.
Your diploma will be sent to you by post and you will also receive a digital copy for your records.
